There is a current situation in Vietnamese society, which is that a large number of university graduates do not work in their trained occupations, leading to a waste of time and money. A large part of the cause of this situation stems from students choosing a career that does not really match their desires and abilities. The “Nguyen Binh Khiem Middle and High School” project was designed with the purpose of solving thí social problem. The project is a combination of a traditional school and a multi-functional cultural center. The school blocks are arranged in the North – South direction, connected by a backbone traffic route – also function as a cultural center with spaces dedicated to many different subjects. During the process of studying and living in this environment, students will regularly approach, participate, and experience the art and technical subjects. Over a long period of time, each individual will gain passion, understanding as well as accumulate the necessary knowledge to help choose a future career, avoiding wasting valuable time and resources.
