The project was completed in early 2020, and the building is planned to have retail space on the lower floors and a hotel on the upper floors. The hotel part is operated by 「Mercure Ambassador Seoul Hongdae」.
The site is located along Yanghwa-daero, adjacent to the lively Hongdae entrance area, which is another center of Seoul where various lives and activities coexist and create new cultures.
The site faces the road in the front and back, and a public space is placed on each side of the road to provide a resting place for building users and pedestrians.
The building is 6 stories underground and 18 stories above ground, with the lower floors for sales and neighborhood living, and accommodation from the 4th floor up. The hotel entrance and vehicle entrance are located at the rear of the building with vehicle access.
We focused on differentiation and specialization from other hotels, such as balcony rooms and garden rooms. In addition, we planned an efficient floor plan and open elevation considering the sales facilities.
An exterior open staircase was planned for the comfort of the store and rear facilities located in the basement, and the parking lot was planned for mechanical parking.
